The Centre for Rural Health aims to engage in research, service, and teaching and learning that promotes equitable and quality health care for all through strengthened appropriate health systems (HS); human resources for health (HRH); as well as addressing the social determinants of ill-health in South Africa and other low- and middle-income countries.
