Dr Mpofana is a Neuroscientist and is interested in Neuroscience research, neurodegenerative disorders, and the study of addiction. She is a developmental lecturer in the School of Laboratory Medicine and Medical Sciences at UKZN. Her aims as a DRILL Research Fellow are to learn mentorship and teaching skills to help her develop others. She also seeks to learn how to manage research programmes, and successfully apply for funding grants.
