Prof. Verusia Chetty

Professor Verusia Chetty is an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Physiotherapy. A physiotherapist who has practiced both nationally and internationally and joined the Department of Physiotherapy at UKZN in 2009. She is also the Academic leader of Teaching and Learning, School of Health Sciences, UKZN. Her duties include supervising postgraduate students. She completed her PhD where she developed a model of care for the rehabilitation of people living with HIV. Her goal as a DRILL Fellow is to inform, design, and determine the feasibility of an integrated rehabilitation and paediatric HIV model while developing her research capacity and mentorship skills.
